Ryan and I wanted to start a blog where family and friends could check in and see what we have been up to! This new stage in our lives will definitely bring some memorable moments as well as funny anecdotes to share along the way. :)
Today is baby boy's due date. Oh boy! I was certain that he would be here by now, but I am convinced that he is quite content just hanging out with mommy! I had several labor signs last Saturday and was convinced I was going to have the baby that night, but by Sunday morning everything seemed calm again. Since then, it has been a waiting game. I finished working last Friday and I am missing the welcomed distraction of all the kids!
Ryan and I are trying to stay busy and not feel the pressure of getting the baby out, but it is certainly difficult! My doctor seems to think it will happen within the week - I certainly hope so, because he is just getting bigger in there!
I think this is payback for me being ten days late for my mom. :)

Of course we are so excited, and wish you a smooth and successful delivery. If it's not, that just gives you something to talk about at the mommy groups for the next several years when all the moms tell the details of their delivery experiences. It's very cute.
